    COMMODITY RATES
     
  Tariff Rules:
  The following rules apply to all rates unless otherwise stipulated prior to receipt and shipment and duly noted and published in specific commodity tariff in compliance and accordance with Federal Maritime Commission regulations.
  1.)
  a. All rates are CY Port of Loading /CY Port of Discharge
  b.  Cargo N.O.S. Worldwide Ports: US $1500.00 w/m
  c. Hazardous Material Cargo Not Accepted.
     
  2.)
  U.S. Terminal Handling Charges
  a. 20'= $575.00, 40'=$625.00
  b. Refrigerated Container or Trailer Handling, Shipper owned only: $800.00
  c. Bulk Handling: $47.50 w/m
  d. Free Time for receiving cargo without payment of freight is seven calendar days from day of receipt for shipment. Demurrage and/or storage charges will thereafter be assessed at US $15.00 per Diem, or part thereof, up until and inclusive of the twenty-first day. Thereafter charge will be US$52.00 per diem or part thereof.
  e. Chassis Usage Charge: $70.00
  f. Line is not responsible for damages to shipper owned equipment except as stipulated in the Standards Terms for Carriage set forth in the bill of lading.
  g. Heavy Lift/ Overweight Surcharge: Rate/2000 pounds
  i. 26000-50000 pounds rated at $35.50
  ii. From 52000-76000 pounds rated at $27.50
  iii. From 78000-200000 pounds rated at $27.00
     
  3.)  All rates calculated and freight to be paid in US Currency.
     
  4.)a. Minimum Tonnage: Minimum weight/volume per single shipment/voyage.
  1 Metric Ton or 1 cubic meter, unless otherwise noted and published in specific commodity tariff.
  b. Bulk Minimum: 2500 Metric Tons required.
  c. Minimum Freight Charge: US$250.00, unless otherwise noted and published in specific commodity tariff.
     
  5.)
  a. Brokerage paid to US Licensed Freight Forwarders:
  i. Caribbean/Antillean Ports (including South America and Central America: Ten percent of Base Ocean Freight Charges (2.25% O.F.)
  b. Commissions paid to foreign agency (Worldwide): Five percent of Base Ocean Freight Charges (5.0% O.F.)
  c. Commissions paid or deductible upon receipt of freight.

  BAF= Bunker Adjustment Factor (Fuel Surcharge)
  BB= Break bulk
  CAF= Currency Adjustment Factor
  CFS= Container Freight Station
  CY= Container Yard
  DSC= Destination Service Charges
  HCB= High Cube Container
  LF = Lane foot (Length of Cargo)
  POD= Port of Discharge
  POL= Port of Loading
  W/M = Weight or Measure (1000kg/ 1 cbm: 35.3145 ft²)
  20'=20' Standard Container
  40'= 40' Standard Container
  7.)  All freight and charges are to be paid prior to lading on board.
